1. DOES
ELC LONDON STREET ACCEPT CHILDREN?
Yes. We accept
juniors from the age of (12) on to our JUNIOR PROGRAMME during summer
periods.
2.DOES ELC LONDON
STREET ASSIST WITH VISA APPLICATIONS? Students who need a VISA entry
into Britain will be sent a letter of acceptance on payment of fees for
the length of their course. ELC will apply to the home office for students
who need extensions to their Visas whilst staying in Britain. Fees will be
refunded if a Visa is not granted
3.WHO COMES TO ELC
AND WHY? Our
students and Business people of all ages come from all over the world...we
frequently have more than 10 different nationalities studying with us.
Students study for pleasure and progress in English and to prepare for
examinations in general and BUSINESS ENGLISH for entry into higher
education in England such as Private schools, colleges, Universities, Defence
Forces, Police Forces, Fire services and Companies.
4.DOES ELC OFFER
CERTIFICATES AND REPORTS? Yes. At the end of the course
all students will be given a graded certificate of attendance and
progress. On request a detailed report can be sent every month to parents
or sponsoring organisations.

6.WHAT ABOUT STUDENTS
AND AU PAIRS? Students and Au Pairs who are unable to attend everyday may join
classes two or more times a week.
7.DOES ELC HAVE
ENTRANCE TESTING?
Yes. All students
take an entrance test between 2 or 3 hours duration on the first day of the
course to determine their level of ability in English. They then join the group
appropriate to their level. 8.
HOW LONG ARE THE COURSES?
ELC
offers year round courses from 2 to 52 weeks. We have a continuous entry
system so that after entrance testing, students can start on any day with their group.
